There is a distinct energy in Foxborough today. Having just walked off the field from the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, I can tell you firsthand: the New Balance Athletics Center is nothing short of a masterpiece.
As the official technology infrastructure partner of the New England Patriots, Gillette Stadium, and The Kraft Group, everyone at NWN could not be prouder to see this vision brought to life. We delivered the underlying infrastructure powering this entire state-of-the-art facility—enabling every digital play, video session, and high-tech performance tools inside.
With our preseason schedule kicking off tonight right here against the Indianapolis Colts, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
A World-Class Facility for a Championship Pursuit
During the ceremony, Robert Kraft spoke passionately about what this facility represents for the future of the franchise. By more than doubling the team’s previous operational space, this facility consolidates all football operations under one single roof.
Mr. Kraft specifically recognized the team driving the intricate detail and immense scale of the building, alongside leadership from Head Coach Vrabel, who now has a player-first environment built tailored to modern NFL preparation.
Powering Innovation Inside the Walls
At NWN, our job is to make sure the tech infrastructure invisible to the eye works flawlessly so the world-class innovation on display can shine. Walking through the facility today, the technology integration is incredible:
- 10K Sq. Ft. Virtual Reality Room: Built to the exact width of a regulation NFL field with 20 yards of unobstructed depth. Backed by high-speed networking, this space gives players and coaches a cutting-edge technological sandbox for game preparation.
- 15K Sq. Ft. Weight Room & 3,700 Sq. Ft. Hydrotherapy Center: Designed to optimize strength, conditioning, and recovery with real-time biometric and data connectivity.
- 160-Seat Main Team Meeting Room & 92 Permanent Player Lockers: Outfitted with seamless multimedia streaming and dynamic screen displays for daily team film sessions and schedules.
- 11K Sq. Ft. Restaurant-Style Dining Facility: Complete with three active cooking lines and full connectivity to keep staff and players fueled and connected.
Rooted in Partnership and New England Pride
A project of this scale requires world-class collaboration. I want extend my gratitude and recognition to NWN’s partners who made this landmark achievement possible:
- The Kraft Group & Patriots: Thank you to Mike Israel, Mike Flynn, The Kraft Organization and Coach Vrabel for trusting NWN to lay the digital backbone for the franchise’s next chapter.
- New Balance: Powerful remarks today from Chris Davis. NWN has delivered unified collaboration services to New Balance for over 10 years —including the technology infrastructure for The Track at New Balance. Seeing two long-standing partners unite on this project is a proud, full-circle moment for us.
- Suffolk Construction: Incredible work by John Fish and his team, who battled tough New England winter conditions to deliver an architectural masterpiece on time.
Tonight, the lights turn on at Gillette Stadium as the Patriots take the field against the Colts to open the 2026 preseason. Behind the scenes, the network will be humming, and the tech infrastructure we built together will be supporting the team every step of the way.
Here’s to a new chapter and a new season of innovation, community, and championships in Foxborough! Go Pats!
