Powering New England Sports and Beyond with Smarter Technology

In New England, sports are more than games. They are community touchstones, sources of pride, and engines of economic and cultural energy. Behind every unforgettable play and championship moment is a foundation of planning, precision, and teamwork not just on the field, but in the technology that keeps fans connected, coaches informed, and players prepared.

That is where NWN comes in. As the Official Technology Infrastructure Partner of the Kraft Group and Boston College Athletics, we deliver AI-powered managed services through our Experience Management Platform (EMP) to give both organizations the visibility, automation, and proactive support they need to keep operations running at championship level.

These partnerships span different leagues and audiences, but share a common goal: delivering exceptional experiences backed by technology that works seamlessly in the background, while making a visible difference in the moments that matter most.

Transforming the Game at Gillette Stadium

In early 2025, The Kraft Group signed a five-year agreement naming NWN its Official Technology Infrastructure Partner. This collaboration is modernizing operations across the Kraft Group’s portfolio, from Gillette Stadium to the New England Patriots’ new training facility.

At Gillette, enhanced connectivity and AI-powered systems monitored through EMP are already improving game day experiences. Video analytics detect when a concession stand is running low and immediately alert operations. If the 300 level is about to run out of hot dogs, the alert is routed instantly so restocking happens before fans even notice. This means fewer empty-handed customers, shorter wait times, and higher concession revenue.

Upgrades also position Gillette to host global events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Expanded Wi-Fi, IPTV network enhancements, and a new Voice-over-IP system give organizers the flexibility to manage ticketing, wayfinding, and media coverage with precision. EMP’s real-time monitoring ensures every component is optimized and ready to perform under peak demand.

At the Patriots’ training facility, NWN is building a state-of-the-art infrastructure aligned with new head coach Mike Vrabel’s modern coaching philosophy. AI-powered applications automatically adjust training schedules based on coaching feedback, deliver playbook content directly to devices, and optimize meeting spaces with smart environmental controls. Centralized management through EMP means every system is tracked, updated, and supported without adding to the coaching staff’s workload, keeping players informed, engaged, and ready to perform.

Elevating Boston College Athletics and Campus Collaboration

In 2025, NWN became the Official Cloud Communications Partner of Boston College Athletics, building on a broader university partnership that began in 2024. For athletics, we provide unified, cloud-based communications that keep coaches, players, and staff connected in real time. On game day, headset systems perform flawlessly when every down counts, with EMP providing proactive monitoring and instant resolution if needed.

The results are visible: coaches and players maintain uninterrupted communication during high-pressure moments, in-game adjustments happen without delay, and operational issues are resolved before they affect performance.

Beyond athletics, NWN has helped Boston College modernize how students, faculty, and staff collaborate. The university now operates campus-wide integrated collaboration spaces, secure networks, unified communications platforms, and advanced security capabilities, all centrally managed through EMP. This gives the BC IT team real-time visibility into system performance, insight into adoption trends, and the ability to implement improvements quickly.

The outcomes are tangible across campus life. Lectures and meetings start on time with reliable technology. Collaboration is seamless whether participants are on campus or remote. The IT team can roll out new capabilities without disrupting daily operations. Students, faculty, and staff have the tools they need to focus on learning and innovation, not troubleshooting.

How These Projects Translate into Real Value

Across both institutions, and for organizations everywhere, the impact is clear. The right technology does more than keep systems running. It creates better experiences, drives efficiency, and opens the door to new possibilities.

  • Faster connections so fans, students, and staff can access what they need without delay
  • Smarter engagement through AI that enables frictionless entry, personalized content, and efficient team operations
  • Privacy, security, and resilience by design to protect high-traffic environments and sustain critical services
  • Real-time coordination so decisions happen faster, from halftime adjustments to classroom discussions
  • Future-ready foundations that scale to meet growth, adopt new technologies, and adapt to change

“If the guest experience is better, people stay longer and buy more. As we become more modern and efficient, the impact is real.” — Michael Israel, CIO, Kraft Group

Technology That Moves as Fast as the Game

Both organizations knew they needed more than point solutions. They wanted a partner who could help them stay ahead of competition on the field and in the boardroom with technology that is secure, scalable, and adaptable to changing needs. Our approach includes:

  • AI-powered managed services with proactive monitoring, insights, and automation through EMP that prevent issues before they happen
  • Modern collaboration tools for cloud-based voice, video, and messaging to keep teams connected anywhere
  • Network and infrastructure resilience to ensure performance under pressure
  • Cybersecurity at the core with every solution built on our secure and resilient by design approach

From New England to Anywhere

The work we are doing for the Kraft Group and Boston College is deeply tied to the pride and performance of New England sports, but the value extends far beyond stadiums and arenas.

Whether it is a healthcare provider looking to improve the patient experience, a financial institution modernizing its infrastructure, or a public agency delivering services more efficiently, the same strategies apply: integrate advanced technology, streamline operations, and never lose sight of the human experience it supports.

At NWN, we bring the same winning technology strategy and EMP-driven visibility, security, and automation to every organization we work with, designed around your goals and built for your future.
