One of the most meaningful parts of my role is finding ways to unite our community around causes that truly matter. Whether it’s raising awareness for women’s empowerment, supporting veterans, or providing critical access to technology during times of disaster, we’re proud to leverage the strength of our partner, employee, and customer ecosystem to make a real impact.

That’s why I’m especially proud to share that NWN has been named Intel’s 2025 Partner of the Year for Community Impact in recognition of our joint efforts in driving innovation, ecosystem collaboration, and transformative go-to-market strategies. This prestigious award celebrates our deep technology partnership with Intel and our commitment to helping customers meet the growing demands of computing and artificial intelligence.

This recognition comes at a pivotal moment—as we double down on our mission to make AI accessible, equitable, and empowering through our AI Athletics initiative and 𝗢𝗵𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗜 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, announced just this week.

This past December, we teamed up with Intel and the New England Patriots Foundation to bring AI Athletics Day to the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester. Boston’s first AI Athletics event introduced over 40 local youth to hands-on AI learning—through the lens of sports. From Relay Races to GenAI Tales, students experienced how technology and creativity can work together, all powered by the latest AI PCs donated by NWN. This was more than just an event—it’s a movement. We kicked off AI Athletics Day last year in Baltimore with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. NWN hosted a transformative event at the Greenmount Recreation Center  providing interactive AI activities planned to inspire the next computer scientist. The ribbon-cutting celebration for the new AI PC lab is expected to happen this summer.

This cause was a collaboration between the Baltimore Ravens, NWN—a leading AI-powered technology solutions provider— knowledge partner Intel Corporation, and Baltimore City Recreation & Parks. It aimed to bridge the digital divide and provide opportunities for youth through the establishment of an AI Computer Resource Lab.Click here for a video reel.
