This year, we ranked 38th Globally for the Best Leadership, acknowledging our exceptional leadership team, who prioritize the well-being and growth of our team members. This commitment is demonstrated in the extensive hands-on involvement of our leadership teams in our talent development programs. In our Empower program, our executives sponsor teams of cross-functional high potential employees to research and solution for a current business challenge. This collaboration between senior leadership and high potential employees is at the heart of creating an environment where all employees are encouraged to innovate, think differently, and provide the best outcomes for internal and external customers.
The 2024 Best Company for Career Growth award highlights our company’s commitment to investing in our employees’ professional development, providing a range of opportunities for learning and growth. This year we ranked 45th Globally for Large Organizations. To us, this is about addressing all talent needs of the organization across the employee lifecycle, from early career to senior leadership. In the last two years, we have graduated 26 employees from across the organization from our Empower program aimed at developing our next generation of leaders with extensive leadership and business-centric training. All managers at the company have participated in a foundational leadership training program aimed at ensuring all leaders have the skills and resources to support their teams and functions. With the launch of our employee resource groups, including Stronger TogetHER and Veterans United, we have elevated several team members into Executive Chair and Director roles supporting these communities. The Professional Development Director role specifically looks to meet the unique needs of the communities in creating a space for continuous growth. This Fall, we are excited to launch Unite, our premier development program focused on aspiring executives. Looking to the future, NWN is excited to continue to expand our training and development efforts to fully address the entire span of the employee lifecycle. This includes more targeted efforts towards early talent, supporting management in a growth-oriented environment, and more.
