As we pause to celebrate Veterans Day 2024, NWN extends our gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our country. To those who have donned the uniform, we salute you for your courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit.
Empowering Our Veteran Community
NWN proudly recognizes the invaluable contributions of our Veteran colleagues and their families. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where Veterans can thrive and reach their full potential.
Our newly formed Veterans United employee affinity group plays a vital role in connecting and empowering our Veterans. Led by Chief People Officer Andrea Morrison and me, Executive Vice President Andrew Gilman, Executive Chair Paul Flint, and Executive Co-Chair Alan Spencer, this group provides a platform for peer-to-peer support, professional development opportunities, and mentorship.
Supporting Our Veterans
This year, we have undertaken several initiatives to show our appreciation for our Veterans. We:
Will place the American Flag at all 11 office locations in collaboration with the Boy Scouts of America.
Look forward to partnering with organizations like Tunnels to Towers and Folds of Honor to support their impactful Veteran focused programs and initiatives.
Established the Veterans United Employee Affinity Group to foster camaraderie, provide support, and advocate for the well-being of Veterans in our company and community.
Join Us in Celebrating Service
We invite all Veteran employees to join the Veterans United group and connect with fellow Veterans. We also encourage everyone to:
Share personal stories: Tell us about your experiences and connect with Veterans on a deeper level.
Support veteran-centric organizations: Donate to or volunteer your time to organizations that empower Veterans.
Recognize the sacrifices: Take a moment to express your heartfelt appreciation for the service of those who have bravely protected our nation.
Honoring the Commitment
NWN stands alongside our Veterans every step of the way, recognizing their sacrifices and celebrating their remarkable contributions. We are committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment where Veterans can continue to serve, grow, and achieve greatness.
Thank you, Veterans, for your service. We are eternally grateful for your sacrifices and your dedication to our nation.

This isn’t a failure of cloud; it’s the result of choice […]
